These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Unnamed Traveler websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”), operated by Unnamed Traveler, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
We use email-based, passwordless sign-in (one-time codes or magic links) and third-party sign-in (such as Google) to authenticate your account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of the email address and third-party accounts you use to sign in, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at unnamedtraveler@unnamedtraveler.com if you suspect unauthorized use.
The Service provides curated, opinionated city travel guides and related features. All information is provided for informational and inspirational purposes only. We are not a booking agent, travel agency, tour operator, or provider of professional travel, legal, medical, or financial advice. You are solely responsible for your travel decisions, for bookings made with third parties, and for compliance with all applicable laws, visa requirements, and health and safety guidance.
City guides are sold as one-time digital purchases that unlock access to a city’s full curated content within the Service. Prices, availability, and included content may change at any time. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe); we never store your full card details.
Where we advertise a money-back guarantee for a purchase (for example, a 30-day money-back guarantee), the guarantee terms stated at the point of sale apply. To request a refund, email unnamedtraveler@unnamedtraveler.com within the guarantee period and tell us briefly why. We reserve the right to refuse refunds where we reasonably determine the guarantee is being abused (for example, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles). Purchases made through the Apple App Store are subject to Apple’s payment terms and refund process.
You may submit content to the Service, including saved places, notes, feedback, and prompts you send to any AI-powered features (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your User Content solely as necessary to operate, improve, and provide the Service. You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have the rights necessary to submit it.

The Service, including all curated text, design, layout, software, and the compilation of recommendations, is owned by Unnamed Traveler, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Place names, photographs, map data, and other third-party content are sourced from third parties (such as Google Maps Platform), and all rights to that content remain with their respective owners. The “Unnamed Traveler” name and any associated logos are our trademarks; you may not use them without our prior written permission.
The Service relies on third-party platforms, including but not limited to Google Maps Platform, Supabase (authentication and database hosting), Stripe (payments), Sentry (error monitoring), and third-party AI model providers. Your use of features powered by these providers is also subject to those providers’ own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.
Travel involves inherent risks, and conditions change constantly. Restaurants close, venues change ownership, prices and hours change, neighborhoods change, and local laws, weather, health conditions, and safety situations can shift without notice. We do not inspect, operate, endorse, or guarantee any establishment, activity, route, or destination described in the Service. You are solely responsible for evaluating the safety, legality, suitability, and current status of any place or activity before visiting, and you assume all risks arising from your travel. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from your visits to, or interactions with, any third-party establishment, destination, or activity referenced in the Service.
Our guides are editorial snapshots: every recommendation reflects conditions as of the date the guide was curated or last updated. A recommended place may close (temporarily or permanently), relocate, or change its ownership, management, chef, menu, prices, hours, reservation policies, or quality at any time, without notice and without our knowledge. Such closures and changes are an inherent part of travel content — they are not a defect in the Service, do not constitute a failure of the Service, and do not by themselves entitle you to a refund except as provided under any money-back guarantee stated at the point of sale. We have no obligation to update any guide, to notify you of changes, or to replace a recommendation that becomes unavailable, although we may choose to do any of these at our discretion.
The Service and all content are provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We do not guarantee that any place, price, route, or other detail described in the Service will be available, accurate, or safe at the time of your visit.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Unnamed Traveler, LLC, its members, managers, officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any and all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms shall not exceed the total amount you have actually paid to us for the Service.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Unnamed Traveler, LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your misuse of the Service, your User Content, your travel decisions, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
If you use our iOS application, the following also applies: these Terms are between you and Unnamed Traveler, LLC only, not with Apple Inc. (“Apple”), and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. Apple has no obligation to furnish maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for material breach of these Terms or where we reasonably believe continued access poses a risk to us, other users, or third parties. You may stop using the Service at any time. Purchase entitlements you have lawfully acquired remain available to you unless your account is terminated for material breach. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Governing Law & Dispute Resolution) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, for material changes, will provide additional notice through the Service or by email. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Before bringing any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at unnamedtraveler@unnamedtraveler.com and attempt informal resolution in good faith for at least thirty (30) days.
If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Unnamed Traveler, LLC agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and we each waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing unnamedtraveler@unnamedtraveler.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms.
